The Talk & Move cards have been created by a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. They can be used with children at home or in educational settings to develop their speech, language, phonological awareness and emotional well-being through movement. 

The A6 pack contains 29 cards each with a different move and sound. On one side of the card is a colourful picture which provides a visual aid to support children’s learning. On the other side is a reminder for the adult of the move, sound, the syllables and rhyming words. The pack includes guidance on how to use the cards.

The cards can be used as a motivating activity with individual children, as a small group or whole class session. The cards are divided into Active, Balancing and Calming moves that can be used to energise, focus or relax children and support their emotional regulation.

The cards are part of The Talk and Move Programme which is a holistic approach focusing on the development of the whole child.
