Dawn Wayne is the Head of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) at Bright Horizons, a role she has held since 2022. With over 16 years of experience managing and leading an Early Years SEND support team within a Local Authority, Dawn brings a wealth of knowledge in supporting schools, nurseries, families, and children with SEND.

Currently, Dawn is engaged in independent research and collaborates with academic institutions to assess the impact of SEND support. She is dedicated to developing innovative practices that shape and enhance pedagogy, policy, and procedures. Her work aims to produce materials for both internal and external distribution, representing Bright Horizons at national and international research symposia, and providing valuable resources for academics, parents, clients, and practitioners.
