Kate has a strong track record in adult education and joined Hempsall’s in 2006. She leads an extensive training programme of early years and childcare CPD training, overseeing the delivery of 100s of local and national events each year. This includes the delivery of child protection and safeguarding training (introductory, refresher, DSL, and safer recruitment) to early years and childcare practitioners, leaders and managers, and school staff/teachers, and governors. Kate also works directly with other organisations such as community and faith groups, multi-agency teams, national charities, and small to large businesses across all sectors. She led the successful delivery of the DfE early years Covid Recovery programme as their training partner and childminder delivery partner working with practitioners acting as experts and mentors.
