Lauren Whittick

Quality practice lead, Atelier nursery

Lauren is passionate about the early years sector and providing children with the very best start in life through high quality care and education. She has worked in education for over 13 years, caring for and educating children first as a Key Stage 1 class teacher and then as an Early Years educator. She later branched out into leadership and management roles across both school and nursery settings, joining the team at Atelier nursery in 2019.

She holds a degree of BSc in Biology a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and Qualified teacher status.

Within her role as quality practice lead, Lauren is committed to supporting each team ensuring that children and families experience high quality provision and practice. She works alongside the senior team to nurture a network of passionate, skilled early years educators who are committed and equipped to care for the next generation.

Lauren is particularly interested in using research and internationally renowned best practice to inform and develop provision and practice in the UK. Alongside the senior team at Atelier, she aims to weave the principles of both the Reggio Emilia and Froebelian approach into everyday practice, providing educators, children and their families with meaningful and impactful experiences.
