Learning objectives:

• We will share thoughts and encourage discussion to describe experiences of children enacting the Montessori view that: “After [the child] has had the satisfaction of observing one thing that interests him, he goes on until he is attracted by something else. In this way the child can walk for miles.”
• How far into this journey can we travel together? How far can we see into the distance when we consider the preparation of enriching learning environments and experiences that capture the imagination, interests and love for learning in our settings. 
• Join us to learn and share more about observation in practice, the skill of evaluation and the value of considering a different lens as you become your own best “observer” and “assessor” for your setting.
