Arriving at the venue
The Business Design Centre has an underground car park with eight dedicated blue badge holder bays on level C.
Access from the car park to the forecourt and street level is available by passenger lift. There is also a pedestrian staircase from level C to the forecourt and street level.
From street level, visitors can access the building by two staircases or by using the ramp on the forecourt. The steps and ramp are supported by handrails.

Step-free travel
The nearest step-free station is King’s Cross St Pancras International.
From there, the venue is a short onward journey by bus or taxi. King’s Cross St Pancras is served by National Rail, Eurostar and several London Underground lines.
We recommend checking your journey with Transport for London before travelling.

Inside the venue
Registration areas include DDA-compliant points available for wheelchair users.
Corridors and gangways are well lit, and internal staircases are supported by handrails. All levels can be reached by passenger lifts in the main reception and Gallery Hall.
Lifts include low-reach buttons with braille, distress alarms and back mirrors to support wheelchair users.
Conference rooms are either set with unfixed seating or include areas where spaces can be made available for wheelchair users.

Manual wheelchair hire
A limited number of wheelchairs are available to borrow for use within the venue.
These should be booked in advance by calling the concierge team on 0207 288 6475.
When you arrive, the wheelchair can be ready for you on proof of identification.

Toilet facilities
Accessible toilets are available on each level of the building.
Some toilets are accessed using a RADAR key. A spare key is kept at reception. If you do not have a key, please contact the concierge team when you arrive or call 0207 288 6475.
Accessible toilets include low-reach door handles and emergency pull cord alarms.

Emergency evacuations
In the unlikely event of a fire or other emergency, the venue’s alarms will be activated.
Fire alarms include audible and visual signals to support visitors with hearing impairments.
Venue fire marshals will support visitors to evacuate. The venue also has onsite Evac chairs to help wheelchair users reach the ground floor if needed.
Emergency red phones are located at the entrance to stairwells on each floor, allowing visitors to contact reception during an emergency.

Guide dogs
The Business Design Centre and Nursery World’s Big Day Out welcome guide dogs.
The team will be happy to make suitable provisions to help guide dogs remain comfortable while on site.
No other dogs or pets are permitted in the venue.

Hearing loop
Hearing loop accessibility will be available in conference rooms on request.
